YappyKids MCP server for AI agents

YappyKids, a children's furniture manufacturer from Latvia, runs a public Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Any AI agent or assistant can use it to search our catalogue, read product details, check availability and estimate delivery. It is read-only, free, and needs no API key.

Endpoint: https://www.yappykids.de/api/mcp — Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST. Registry name: lv.yappy/shop.

Ordering	Not available through the API. Every product comes with its `url`; the customer completes the purchase on the website.
Status	Public beta. Tool schemas may gain fields; existing fields are kept.

Tools

list_categories

List the product categories of the YappyKids shop (children's furniture, mattresses, bedding) with URLs. Call this first to pick a category id for search_products.

lang string — Shop language: lv, lt, ee, pl, de, en, fr, ru. Defaults to the language of the domain the request was sent to.

search_products

Search products by keywords and/or category. Returns name, price (VAT included), availability, URL and image. Use 1–3 keywords in the shop language (product names such as "YappyQu", sizes such as "120x60", or category words such as "matracis"). To browse a whole category pass category_id and no query.

query string — Search words (max 100 characters). Optional when category_id is given.
category_id integer — Category id from list_categories. Optional.
limit integer — Max results, 1–50, default 20.
page integer — Page number starting at 0.
lang string — Shop language: lv, lt, ee, pl, de, en, fr, ru. Defaults to the language of the domain the request was sent to.

get_product

Full product card by id: description, attributes (dimensions, material, age), colour variants with availability, all images, price, GTIN. Prices include VAT.

get_availability

Stock state of a product: in_stock, low_stock, preorder (with expected date), backorder or out_of_stock, plus the delivery time estimate for in-stock items. No quantities are disclosed.

lang string — Shop language: lv, lt, ee, pl, de, en, fr, ru. Defaults to the language of the domain the request was sent to.

get_delivery_options

Delivery methods and prices for a destination country and an order. Pass the product ids (with quantities) to get the shipping weight and order total computed from current prices, or pass order_total and weight_kg directly.

country string — ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code, e.g. LV, LT, EE, PL, DE, FR. Defaults to the shop language's country.
items array — Products in the order
order_total number — Order total in shop currency, used if items are not given.
weight_kg number — Total weight in kg, used if items are not given.
lang string — Shop language: lv, lt, ee, pl, de, en, fr, ru. Defaults to the language of the domain the request was sent to.

get_store_info

Shop facts: company, languages and domains, currency, VAT, returns (14 days), warranty, delivery and payment information pages, contacts.

Terms

The data is the same as shown on the website and may be used to help customers find and compare YappyKids products. Prices and stock change; always show the product url so the customer can confirm on the site before buying. Bulk crawling through the API is not needed: use the product feed instead.
